Mark forged a musical career juggling the roles of recordist, performer, and educator.
His work as a recording engineer led to Grammy nominations and platinum records for his clients.
As a performer, Mark’s main instrument was the piano, but he also played drums in punk bands, electric bass in salsa groups, and accordion in settings ranging from symphony orchestras to avant-garde theater pieces.
For over a decade, and until just before his death, he was on staff with the School of Music at The Ohio State University as their audio engineer, while also continuing his work as an active recording engineer/producer and freelance musician.
Mark was a great asset and a dear friend to The Fotini Project, and he continues to be missed.
